Implementation of a project under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises"

On April 27, 2026, "Nitex" EOOD launched the implementation of project No. BG16RFPR001-2.004-0418-C01 "Improving energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in 'Nitex' EOOD" under the Operational Programme "Competitiveness and Innovations in Enterprises" 2021-2027, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund. The total value of the project is EUR 82,452.47, of which EUR 51,120.53 is grant funding and EUR 31,331.94 is co-financing from own resources. The project aims to improve energy efficiency within the production facility of Nitex EOOD and to increase the share of renewable energy in the enterprise's operations, with a view to reducing its carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption, and supporting the transition to climate neutrality. The project's overall objective will be achieved through the construction and commissioning of a photovoltaic installation combined with inverters with an installed capacity of 100 kW, as well as the commissioning of 4 heat recovery units for heating, cooling, and ventilation with a capacity of 1,000 m3/h each. As a result of the project's implementation, the company will increase its energy efficiency and the share of renewable energy used by deploying a photovoltaic installation and heat recovery units. This will lead to a reduction in energy consumption, carbon emissions, and electricity costs, resulting in more sustainable and resource-efficient manufacturing operations.
